    hi,

my landlord now wants me to pay the rent through revolut as she has to change bank. hoping to go for a mortgage in the next 6-9 months so want to be able to show i am paying that amount of rent. wanted to set up a standing order from my bank to my revolut with the title 'rent' (and then pay her through the revolut) but it keeps saying the IBAN is not valid. i have checked and rechecked and it is correct - are you able to set up a standing order from the bank of ireland current account to revolut and if not have you any suggestions on how i prove i pay rent when it comes to the mortgage.

    thanks

    Hi There,

Thanks for getting in touch with us on Boards.ie.

As Revolut is not an Irish bank, it is not possible to set up a Standing Order to an account with Revolut.

Standing Orders can be set up to domestic bank accounts within ROI.

    Thanks, Aisling
