hello Folks, it's a largeish uneven site running slightly downhill from house to front boundary.

There is an old well in the middle of site. I will surround this with grass. There will also be grass along one side of side boundary. I will need to kerb both areas.

Question is, should I level and put in topsoil first to get an idea? Or should I kerb first. If I kerb first, how do I figure out the kerb level?

    Thanks in advance

Most places seem to level off topsoil close to finished before kerbing
