Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Im a full time permanent Secondary school art teacher in the republic of Ireland teaching since 2009. My partner has been offered a job in Belfast. We are weighing up our options to move, but I would have to get a job teaching there at some stage for that to happen. Im struggling to find any good information online that describes the major differences between secondary school teaching in the north vs the south. I know the systems and curriculum will be different, but if anyone here has any further insight or experience of such a move and could share that would be fantastic. Information on things like Pay difference, hours, workload, holidays, work environment, availability of employment would be great, and any other bits of info that could be helpful.

    Many thanks
