Is the national library of Ireland in Dublin open on Saturdays? I had a look on their website but I couldn't find the opening hours.

Will my local library be able to order a book from the national library?

The National Library isn't a lending library. You can't take books out of it. It's a research library and exhibition space.

I was never in the national library of Ireland in Dublin so I wasn't aware.

I'm looking for a book that's not in publication any more. I found a website online where they tell me what libraries it is in and apparently its in the national library in Dublin.

I will keep searching online for a secondhand book.

It was! It was the omnibus edition, I really liked his other “Bachman” stories so wanted to read that one.

Got my own copy of the omnibus awhile after. No need to be concerned, I haven’t any access to guns or inclination to get any.
