Hybrid Inverters - Sofar or Solis?

    Hi,

Whats the general consensus here? My supplier is Sofar only even though I've want a Solis. He said that the Sofar is regarded as a better inverter (of course he would say that) but my research has mostly contradicted this.

They are giving me a very competitive price overall but I'm still hesitant on committing.

Whats the consensus here, Sofar or Solis?

    Both are good inverters,

As long as both of them can do 100 amps from batteries is the main spec you need to keep an eye out for. (theres 2 versions with only a letter change in the model number, The sofar that is.)

I dont have a hybrid but i have the ME3000. Dad has a Hybrid Solis.

Also a drawback that Ive come across (along with @irishchris ) is that the Solis cant sustain 100 amps for longer than about 15 minutes, either charging or discharging and it derates to about 68 amps. We both have had fans on ours so heat or ambient temperature isnt an issue.
