I am going to look at a Kia Niro Hybrid and wondering what checks I should make? Any help would be great. Mileage is around 70,000.

Put up a link to the ad.

Find out how many years dealer warranty is left not by contacting seller but by giving reg to dealer and check if there is a limit on mileage and if dealer has a full service history.

If car is due an NCT (4 years old) don't buy it without NCT.

If there is a nearby garage down the road ask them to give it a once over for you such as test drive, lift it up etc.

Check tyres have lots of thread and have even wear. Uneven wear indicates issues. Check engine oil levels, check fluids levels. Check for hints of crash damage or repair at front and inside boot.

Is the car a plug in hybrid, if so make sure it's plugged in and you get charging cable.
