Uncomfortable office chair from Lidl. My arse is in bits. Can I get a refund?

I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Packaging is long gone.

It's very uncomfortable, there is almost no padding/ cushion and my arse is in bits from sitting on it. Well there is a bit of padding but when you sit on it, it gets compressed to 1mm thickness and basically disappears. I am not fat at all.

It is one of those "executive" faux leather office chairs and cost €90.

Can I just roll it into the shop and ask for a refund simply because i find it uncomfortable?

Contact customer service first and repeat that post. They'll advise what to do https://customer-service.lidl.ie/SelfServiceIE/s/

You can return to the shop within 30 days with the receipt

Not for a change of mind though and that's what this is, the OP never said the chair is faulty just uncomfortable.

No packaging and no fault means that you need to buy a cushion.

I've managed to get refunds from Lidl with no receipt when I have contacted head office so thats the way I'd proceed. If you can provide some photographs that show how crappy the chair is that will help.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Yes change of mind is fine for Lidl think its 28 days for Lidl Ireland, for some reason can't open their T&C's webpage?

Provided the OP has a receipt I don't see a problem but I'd contact customer service before trying to take a large item back to the store - who will probably say contact customer service anyway.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Get yourself a gel filled cushion.
