Got into the car after work today and realized I had a snot stuck on my nose.

Why doesn't anybody say anything? I'm guessing it was a failed nose blowing attempt. But I obviously spent some amount of time in the office talking to people with this stuck to my nose. Unless it (hopefully) just appeared as I entered my car.

I would usually be the first person to say "hey ... you have a piece of snot on your nose". I would literally stop my CEO mid sentence and tell them that they have a booger or a sandwich or whatever that stuck to their face.

I have even stopped a girl and said "hey you have an actual fanny pad stuck to your dress". I called it sanitary towel but whatever.

Also I've often joined groups of people bantering and have taken somebody aside and said "hey... you have a piece of hang sanguige and mayonnaise on your chin". Meanwhile they've been chatting with the group all lunch time and nobody has said a word. And there was very obviously something hanging off their face.

    So my question is:

Why don't people tell other people that they have stuff on their face?

I know that the first reply to any thread here is an attempt to be funny and get as many thanks as possible, rather than discussing the topic. So let's get that over and done with shall we.
