Car scratched badly should I claim from insurance

    Hey all I am looking for some advice, today I accidentally scratched my car against a pillar resulting is some very deep scratches and dents along the passenger side wing, door and rear door. I could really do without forking out the money to fix it as i need it for our house build. Does your insurance cover damage like this fully what's the best way to approach it with them. I will attached photos of the damage if I can.
