I happened to see some posts on Boards and Radiowaves about presenter Dave Evans (real name Eamonn Roe) and pieced together some of his previous radio experience, and helped by a mixture of listening to voices and the connections to certain individuals.

So this what I discovered. He was with Brian Greene's northside pirate Centre Radio in the 1980s, and followed that up in the 1990s/2000s with Brian's Radio Caroline Dublin. Dave also was a presenter in 1987 on a shortwave pirate called Radio Andrea International. This was facilitated by Prince Terry's Westside Radio International. Prince Terry was to link up with Centre Radio in 1988 - another connection! I also learnt that Dave was a presenter in the early 1990s in the early non-dance-specific days of Sunset FM, as indeed was the aforementioned Brian Greene! Dave Evans is a presenter on Spanish station Real FM owned by former Sunset FM operator Gary Cruize, as is Brian Greene! I previously had a thread about Real FM and its various Irish voices, including Dave.

A few years ago there was briefly a presenter on MW pirate Energy Power AM by the same name. Could it be the same Dave Evans? I think it could well be, as one of the owners of it was (still is?) Brian Kelly, who was also a presenter on Real FM! Edit: It is the same guy. Eamonn Roe on Linkedin mentioned Energy 1395AM (as it was then) and Real FM on 107.9 FM!
