VW arteon water pump problem

    The garage I go to has told me there is an issue with the water pump in the engine causing the engine to overheat. My war is a 191 and out of warranty. I looked this up and apparently there is a major issue with water pumps in Audi and VW. So much so there is a class action suit against VW in the US. My question is should VW fix this for me with no charge as it’s a known problem?

    I'd try to push for it, especially if you have been getting it serviced from them since new. They may do as good will gesture.
