Selling a few bikes and decided to try on here first to see if there’s any interest. Pics to follow.

BIKE 1: First up is my own bike: GIANT TCR Advanced Pro 1 2020 model

2 years old - selling as it's underused (still use my other bike plus this is my good weather bike and, this week excepted, there’s not enough good weather). Never raced or crashed.

    Size M/L - I'm 5'11 and fits well.

V good condition - very lightly used – will probably need new saddle (original has split).

In terms of viewing, based in S Wicklow but work in N Wicklow.

Sold with spec as purchased (incl. carbon tubeless wheels, rim brakes, mechanical Ultegra). Receipts available.

    Price €2200

    Full spec here: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ie/tcr-advanced-pro-1-2020

    NO swaps or splitting components

BIKE 2 is my wife’s also criminally underused bike – also 2 years old. It’s a GT Grade Expert Alloy disc braked gravel bike with 105 – full spec is here https://www.gtbicycles.com/lat_es/grade-expert.

Size is small (51). Even though it’s small (and I’m not) I have used it for the odd spin with the saddle raised – it’s very comfortable, and an excellent trail bike.

    Price €750. Photos to follow.

Finally, BIKE 3, my daughter’s bike (she’s outgrown it). It’s a Frog 69, I think 26”, with Shimano 8 speed. She got it 4 years ago when she was 9 or 10 in Joe Daly cycles. It hasn’t been used nearly enough and is in good condition though brakes need tweaking. Photos to follow. Price €250.

Yo. I'd like to arrange a viewing of the TCR please if I could? I know there are boards rules but I can't be expected to blindly offer asking for a bike I haven't even seen a picture of.

So if it's perceived as off thread dealing, so be it, but I would like to see the bike and can pm you a number if that's allowed.

Its not, so long as you come back to make an offer but it's not off thread dealing to ask to have a look.

I'm interested in the TCR too. Can hop over to Wicklow to view. PM sent. Cheers.

Right well just to keep it all kosher ill offer asking to stick a pin in it on the understanding that's it's to view anyway and take it from there.

Pm sent to OP with contact details

TCR Pics - having a few issues posting them but this might work.

Edit - it didn't so this is just the first. Working on it...

Are you certain that is the 2021 model? Reason I ask is the wheelset looks to be the previous version and not the ones from the link you gave (the older ones will be better for some people as they are not hookless). But tire clearance might be slightly less.

Great bike and great price in any case - I have the 2020 disc model and I love it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 102 ✭✭Neleven

Bought it in 2020 as one of the first 2021 models - it does seem to have a few differences in spec though when I enter the model type on the invoice this is the spec list I get. Thanks for your comments!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,971 ✭✭✭fat bloke

I think you're right actually, it looks to me to be the 2020 model and the clearance is not the same as the 21.

A great bike but I'm specifically looking for a frame with wider clearance.

PLEASE NOTE - it turns out that the TCR posted is in fact the 2020 model - thanks to Fat Bloke for clarifying it (and Can't Get No Sleep for spotting the possibility). The amended spec list is below - I am going to leave it up at this price as I think that's what it's worth. I apologise to any and all for the error - I had no intention to mislead and was myself under the illusion that it was the later model that I had bought.

I can't amend the opening post however.

    So still for sale...

Cheers Neleven. Offer withdrawn. Still a savage bike, just not what I'm after. Best of luck with the sale.

I'm interested in the TCR, are you in Dublin? I can come try for size?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 102 ✭✭Neleven

In South Wicklow but work in North Wicklow and am often (almost daily at the moment) in Dublin. I’m happy to bring bike up or for you to travel to try it out.

    That could work.

I can tip down Bray/Greystones either.

I'll move to PM to arrange a viewing!

The TCR doesn't fit me unfortunately, it's immaculate though. Glws
