    Hi.

Can anyone recommend a garage specialising in Japan Import repairs (Specifically Honda Fit)?

    Ideally in South Dublin.

    Thanks

It depends on issue. Is it engine trouble?

I don't know this crowd but maybe ring them

often there is specific Facebook groups for certain models (even UK based) . If you have specific fault codes or descriptions they can often help guide. If you have a cheap obd fault code reader that can give codes which can help diagnose what might be causing the issue. Some people record videos of issue which can help with diagnosis.

Thanks both. Boot is not opening. Based on google, it is a common issue with second generation Honda Fit. Already spoke to Icetronix - they said they won't be able to help.

They do repairs also. Wouldn’t exactly be specialists in Honda tho.

Any decent mechanic should be able to fix a faulty boot

yea they do repairs and servicing too. They are not Honda specialists like Icetronix but they've fixed my Honda many times.

Personally I would try get it open myself and then get local garage to repair or replace dodgy parts. Assuming it's stuck shut most cars have a way of opening boot from inside. I would Google the hell out of it and look up YouTube etc.

If you are not into DIY they at least let local garage know the keywords you used to get relevant video.

Thanks. I've watched tons of videos on youtube already (including the one you posted) but it seems that the only solution in my case is replacing the whole mechanism.
