By the looks of things you will be at the beach with the rest of the local population. A lot of choice in that regard.

    heres a start

Summer in the city still happening in city center-check out facebook page.

Mandatory trip up to Hickeys Bakery on Barrack street for the best blaas in the world must be on the list....

Take a trip to Dunmore East or Tramore, the two largest seaside resorts in close proximity to the City. Go early if you can to get parking.

If it's sunny, you could bring a blanket and parasol to the People's Park for baby. It's a nice peaceful space.

There is loads to do in Waterford, but with a 5 month old, I'd imagine you won't be cycling the Greenway, or hiking up the Comeragh Mountains.

Another option would be to take a trip on the Barrow Princess - it's a boat tour out into Waterford Estuary.

Take a trip up the Copper Coast taking in Fenor, Bunmahon, etc. and head up to Dungarvan.. You won't be dissappointed
