Carport between house and garage

Hi All, I would be interested in thoughts/suggestions on how best to allow for a carport being added between my new build house and garage. My intention/hope would be that it could be bolted to the house and to the garage without the need for any additional posts etc. On the house side its straight forward enough I think as it's two story so it will be bolted to the an otherwise bare wall - I have seen this on a few houses. Possibly some detail needed at plastering stage for to ensure no water issues?

But on the garage side (and before I go discussing with the roofer/blocklayer) would there be any suggestions on how best to finish it into the garage in order to get the water directed away also etc. I would be thinking of sloping from house to garage but where it meets the garage I am finding it hard to visualise due to the much lower facia and soffit line. I have specifically spaced the house and garage with this in mind so the span is not a concern. The garage will be blocklayed soon so I will need to discuss it soon so suggestions/pitfalls are welcome.

I would also add that the carport will be added down the line not immediately so that needs to be considered also.
