Thought people could add their best options for coffee in the various Fingal areas.

Swords: I like Coffee Works on Main St best, but Loafd (just opened a few weeks ago) does 3FE, also vg.

Horse boxes: Two Birds up at JCs, Capall in Airside near Hogs & Heifers

Malahide: Yellow Door at Londis is decent, a Dó has nice coffee but they don't put the sugar in before the milk, which makes a vast difference.

Agreed about Coffee Works. We get our beans from them for our machine at home. €30 for 1Kg is very good. We live close to Two Birds so if we fancy a walk and a coffee they do a very nice one.

    Where is Loafd?

The well-known Olive in Skerries, although sometimes their coffee (well, the milk) could be hotter.

A new one, the Butcher Boy in Skerries also has lovely coffee.

Cafe Verde in Rush. Their coffee is fantastic, very hot which I know doesn't suit everyone but I like. And a shout out to them for being one of the few shops that offer 3 sizes of coffee cup, 8oz cup being the smallest. Most days that is all I want, not a 12oz cup.

Also a new one - Bare Acre Farm, on the road from Rush to Skerries. A new small business selling fruit, veg, cakes. The coffee itself is excellent.

We're spoiled for good coffee in this little part of Fingal.

It looks like the coffee harvest is down this year, so price of coffee beans will probably go up

Between that and the cost of the electricity it looks like coffee might become a very expensive luxury soon 😭

Enjoy it while it's there folks
