Old Sky dish with freesat tuner on smart tv

Hi,

I have a new LG OLED65G1 and it has a builtin freesat tuner if I select a UK location postcode.

I have the TV sat connection connected directly to the Sky Dish (recently returned Sky Q box but still have dish).

• Can the Sky dish pickup freesat?
• When I tune in I get channel lists in the guide but get No Signal message when I select a channel.

You will have to replace the SkyQ wideband LNB for a universal LNB.

The Freesat tuner in the TV can only see a very small slice of channels when connected to a wideband LNB.

Yes that'll work. When replacing just note the skew (slant) of the LNB being removed and fit the new one similar.
