Contacting liquidators of a company

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to find out how to contact the liquidator of a company and Google is failing me. I had some furniture fabricated for my house some weeks back and had to send something back for readjustment. While it was in the workshop, the company I was dealing with went into liquidation. I'm trying to find out who the liquidators are so that I can request the return of the furniture, but I'm having no luck in trying to find this information. It's paid for in full so it's my property, and I'm concerned that it will be sold or disposed of unless I can contact someone about it.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Write to the company in the normal way, the liquidators staff will be receiving the mail and will deal with it.

Details of the liquidation must be published, once the liquidator is appointed. Are you sure this has happened?

I was in contact with the company owner via email and that's why I thought it was a separate contact address. I can't find details of the liquidation but the factory is closed and the vehicles and machinery are all on site. It's locked and protected by security guards now too. Maybe the liquidation hasn't been published yet, it's been about a month since the company closure.

Thanks for that link, nothing coming up in any of the latest or archived reports there so it's possible that there's no liquidator there. I've reached out to the general email for the business too so if the email is being picked up by someone hopefully they'll get back to me.

Ask the owner or the security guard for the name of the receiver / liquidator.

Check the CRO Gazette to see if it has been struck off. Check CRO.ie for the current status.
