Ryanair check-in bag - can I use cardboard box

    Hi.

    Wife is flying soon with kids within EU, she initially just planned on taking hand luggage, but we though it would be handy if she could take few more personal items, some delicious Irish sausages, cheese, etc, which you can't really take in hand luggage, and a car child seat.

    I though about fitting a child seat into a bag with the other stuff listed, but I can't seem to find a bag which would be big enough to fit the child seat.

    Is it possible to just pack all of the above into a cardboard box i check it in like that?

    Ryanair lists maximum weight as 20kg, and maximum size as 81x119x119 cm which seem really big allowance - my box would definitely fit within those limits.

    Happens all the time but you need to make sure that it is well wrapped.
