Neighbours Dog Barking Daytime

Hi,

Every time i go out in my back garden, be it to sit out or water plants etc, this little neighbour's dog yelps and growls at me constantly. It's going on for a year or so, whenever they got him. I'm usually laid back but the last few days he's getting on my nerves.

I suppose a dog has a right to bark in the daytime, he's quiet at night? No point going to the neighbours. But it is kind of intimidating.

Maybe ask your neighbour to introduce you to the dog. And bring him some treats. Cooked chicken. He will maybe calm down once he knows you.

It is a brilliant idea. It's a non-confrontational approach that may pose some inner questions to the owner regarding the dogs boredom.

This works.

A new neighbour moved in next to me with a little dog about 3 years ago, he used to go crazy barking when I went out to the garden. I started talking to him, and then met him with the neighbour and now whenever he sees me he comes running with tail wagging for a rub!

Yep. Same for me. However the dog still barks at everything else 😁😁😁

He's a little dote, but doesn't get much attention or any exercise from what I see.😔
