Can I put a vented dryer in a timber outside shed or do I need a condensing dryer ?

I've always understood that a condensing dryer is for situation where you don't or can't have a vent to the outside. So vented dryer fine I would think in a dry shed. As to whether a dryer of any type will cost more to run in the winter in an outside shed I don't know.

I would like to ask a separate question. Where'd in Drogheda could I buy a fireguard?
