Has anyone here tried it? or know somoene who has or have any experience with LPG transfer pumps at all. My local LPG station has been closed for refurbishment the past year and may not have a LPG pump when it comes back. Though I may be able to get a good deal on 47kg cylinders that would make it competitive with gas from the pump.

Back during the oil crisis (late 70's) a local lad rigged up his fiat to run on a cylinder of gas, probably butane.

He had the gas cylinder sitting on the passenger seat .

As for transferring LPG from a tank to your car, I've no idea.
