Frame Extenders for uPVC door

I'm looking for frame extenders/ uPVC add-ons for a 60mm wide frame. Is there anywhere these can be bought? I can find 70mm wide ones on eBay, but that's it.

Failing that, can anyone recommend an alternative to frame extenders for the side of a uPVC door?

    Thanks.

And in the same subject area, would anyone have an idea where could I buy frame couplers/connectors?

Almost every website I can find seems to be trade only/cartel and/or the "give us all your details and we'll try and figure out how much we can get away with charging you" type. Which are of their nature decidedly unfriendly to those of us DIY'er's who want to reuse windows & doors which would otherwise end up in landfill for our projects and (incidentally) save around 80% of the price of buying new....

    Thanks.

I see where you're coming from, but it's very niche. Try DL Windows in S Meath.

Thanks. Emailed them there, so hopefully I'll get lucky.

I can see why window manufacturers won't make it easy for people to re-use their windows, but it seems like a no-brainer option for both cost reduction and supply increase in a market where building materials are both stupidly expensive and in many cases difficult to buy at any price.

Plus the environmental benefits of both reusing second-hand windows and using frame extenders on those windows to enable the fitting of a significant amount of insulation on reveals. New windows/doors (properly installed) would be more efficient long term, but like used cars, upgrading with used doors/windows would be much more financially viable for most people than buying new.
