Wills and Inheritance Query

Our family currently has a small issue with inheritance. Our mother recently died (father passed away years ago). The family home was in both our mother and father name and surprisingly for some reason our youngest brothers name was also on the deed, so jointly owned by three of them. He was the youngest and last to leave the house but has not lived there in over a decade.

The youngest brother who's name was on the house has decided to move in no questions asked, the property is worth approx 600k and is mortgage free. There are 4 siblings including the youngest guy, what rights do the remaining 3 siblings have given that there was no will? Thanks in advance for any advise offered.

It really counts, how they all owned it, if it was a Joint tenancy or a tenancy in commons. If it is joint tenancy, your brother now fully owns the house. If its a tenancy in common, your parents share of the house goes into probate.
