Gifts for an aspiring bee keeper

Hi folks,

My brother has a milestone birthday just around the corner, and we want to spend a bit on him.

He has become interested in Bee Keeping, he has just completed a course in the same and so far as I know he has none of the equipment. So I know literally nothing about the subject, but was hoping someone could give me a few pointers.

What would he need to get started, any suggestions for a gift(s)?

Any Irish based stores with easy returns that people would recommend for buying gifts?

One of the best things you could get him would be membership of his local beekeepers association, you'll find a full list here. https://irishbeekeeping.ie/

If he has none of the equipment, get him a starter kit, if you can afford it...or some elements of same.

Hayne's Bee Manual is also probably a good buy if he's starting out.
