Ugly Meter boxes - cover?

We have two white meter boxes on the wall beside our front door. Not sure why they were put there, but thats another story!

I'd like to cover them but still maintain access. I could stick some fake hedging on them, but I feel that the brains in here will have a better idea.

    Appreciate any advice.

Paint them to match the wall.

Thanks. Its a brick wall, so it might be difficult to match the brickwork but hadn't thought of it so thanks

Paint it the same colour as the brick, or as close as possible, which shouldn't be too difficult to find the shade. That's what I planned to do, but it's been 4 years and still haven't got around to it yet. 😂

Get a graffiti artist to paint brick and mortar lines on the doors.

Put bamboo in a box planter box and stick it in front.

If you know anyone in the poster printing or automotive wrapping business, you could get them to print up some transfers using a high resolution photograph of your brickwork

Then stick the transfers over the meter boxes, making sure to cut out the door edges and lock to maintain access

Then you'll have some camouflaged meter boxes 😁
