U.S. kills Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri in drone strike

Multiple sources are suggesting Al Zawhri was killed in a Drone strike.

Ayman Mohammed Rabie al-Zawahiri was an Egyptian terrorist known for being the leader of terrorist group Al-Quada from June 2011. He succeeded Osama Bin Laden following his death, and was a former member and senior official of Islamist organizations which have orchestrated attacks in Asia, Africa, and also some in North America and Europe.

Hamza was reportedly confirmed killed some time during the first 2 years of Trumps presidency but they were very quiet about it, and the details are still largely unknown, and the WH made little public mention of it. I presume it was not a very clean strike.

Al Zawahri was motivated by several things before Afghanistan.

One was the sliding away from stricter Islamic norms in Egypt in the 60s and 70s, especially what he considered the Socialist leaning of Sadat.

His anger towards America for his formative Jihad years seems limited to its decadence, his view of its women as immoral and encouraging immoral behaviour in Islamic Societies.

Al Zawahri was jailed, imprisoned and tortured by Sadat's regime in the 70's for sure. But once the conflict arose in Afghanistan, the religious fundamentalists in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and countless other Arabic nations were set loose by the various US backed regimes to ply their trade over in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Including Zawahri. This was sanctioned by those states and their handlers in the CIA. They funded these animals to defeat the USSR in some pathetic attempt to make up for the optics of the American defeat in Vietnam. His anger towards America was based upon the same anger Bin Laden harboured, that they were used by the Americans, and that the Americans or the Saudis didn't actually give two f**ks about their religion, only the chess-game of geo-political power, they used their religion to make monkies out of them, this was the reason for the actual real and ultra violent, animosity towards America, the "great satan" who formerly were these guys backers. There are countless accounts where both Zawahri and Bin Laden actually state this.
