I'm curious about these watches for training. Could anyone recommended one just for measuring splits and distance and recording your chosen route? Are you better paying more for Garmin models?

I used these for a few years, perfectly useable. If you want a cheap watch for running then the Coros pace 2 by a good margin the best available, nothing comes close.
