Ideal boiler not re-pressurising

The pressure might drop once or twice a year, but today the water shut off in the hot tap. Usually it just goes cold.

Went to re-pressurise it like usual. But it wouldn't work. There was no whoosh at all from the taps under the boiler.

Turned off the boiler and reset it. But still nothing.

    Any ideas?

    That's not ideal..

    (Sorry..)

But is it a gas boiler?..could you open the gas valve under it to repressurise it?..

Lol, nice one! Hey, at least it's summer so it's not as bad.

Yes, it's a gas Condenser boiler so it heats the water as it passes through it, and we have constant hot water... well, did...

I have tried opening the valves. Normally I hear a hiss as it represurrises but it's not doing anything at the moment

If you have no water from the hot tap then the cold water supply to the combi then this means no pressure available to re pressurize to ~ 1.5 bar, presume you still have (mains) cold water else where??.

You're dead right John. Turns out it was the pump not the boiler. Reset it and all working again fine.
