Anyone know why my brown bread has a crack at the top?
It could be many things - oven temperature, the mix is too wet, or too much baking soda.
Thanks for reply, baking soda is as per recipe. Ill try varying the amount of liquid and see. I have my suspicions about the oven, I dont think its maintaining the correct temperature 👍️
Perhaps a slash along the length of the loaf might help?
