    This sounds positive and achievable. Also, 2% is tiny compared to what's been spent on covid, fossil fuel subsidies, food waste, ...

    Anyway, very good presentation from Yuval Noah Harari... sorry if it's been posted already ...

    He suggests checking a website to see where the 2% figure was derived from. Not surprisingly, there's nothing substantial on that website.

    A transition from energy that's dense, easy to find, and simple to store to one that's diffuse, intermittent and anything but easy to store will:

    A) cost a LOT more than 2% of GDP

    B) not be revealed to the world by a professor of history.
