Using Mobile Data in Northern Ireland

I've to spend a day in Northern Ireland later in the week and I'm wondering what my best option is to get mobile data there.

Last time I was in Belfast, it was a disaster. I was trying to find WiFi spots in order to load Google maps to find different places.

I've never used roaming before. I tried swapping my network to Vodafone UK but it didn't seem to help at all.

I'm currently a PAYG customer with Vodafone and pay €20 a month for free calls and texts as well as 10GB data.

Just wondering if I need to add to this deal for roaming outside the South of Ireland.

    What would people suggest?

    Thanks

Roaming is allowed in NI like the rest of EU, your phone should roam onto Vodafone uk and allow calls, text and data. Make sure you have data roaming enabled on your phone. Im on Vodafone and it works flawlessly any time I have been up there even on payg.
