I wonder where Stallone and Arnie would sit in the MCU and DC Universes if they were still in their prime when this whole Superhero buzz kicked off.

Would one have been Marvel and the other DC.

I know that collectively we like to block the film from our memories, but Arnie has been part of the DC universe!

And Sly has been part of the MCU be ever so small.

Sly has been part of both Marvel and DC with The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy

Going by Arnie's "performance" as Mr Freeze he likely would be god awful in that Universe.

Watched this...it was ok...it felt oddly dated. Sylvester Stallone was solid. Nice to see Pilou Asbaek in a big(ish) film (terrific in borgen) the kid was a tad annoying though...

Also could they not have come up with a slightly more interesting costume/outfit for the saviour and nemesis characters? (I am guessing true to the comic though).

Honestly thought it was very poor. Hard to sit through. Wife wanted to switch it off with 20 mins left. We struggled through it.

It wasnt a bad watch to be fair.

Not a superstar film, Euron Greyjoy and his " dragon roar" was a bit off putting, but overall a solid way to spend 90 mins thats not in the scratcher.

Watched it last night, not bad. There are plenty of worse ways to spend 90 mins 😁

    I'd give it a 6.5/10

Well Stallone is actually already in both Marvel and DC flicks...Guardians of the Galaxy 2/The Suicide Squad both directed by James Gunn.

I thought a few tweaks and this could have been really decent they focused way too much on the kid for a start I was also sort of surprised that it was quite family friendly not that that's a bad thing but I thought the trailer made it seem slightly darker more mature foray. It was a reasonable but largely throwaway watch, 4/10 for me.

Don't forget Stallone also played Judge Dredd which was another god awful "performance".
