Research on EASYCAP device lists a variety of manufacturers using the same EASYCAP name with varying levels of compatibility on Windows versions Vista, XP, 7 and in one instance "even" 10. The gadget varies in price from Irish distributors between €8-€18. Having watched several YouTube videos on installing and using them it appears there's a degree of hit and miss in the installation process, resulting in both audio and video recording quality far from perfect. Anyone have experience of any of these?

    Hi,

Yes I have experience with it with the Honestech software - I have made multiple attempts at transferring VHS to USB with different Laptop and VHS player combinations but I have not been able to get the video to transfer, the audio will transfer ok.

Similarly, it cost very little, but doesn't work for me anyway...

Anyone with a fix for this?
