Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have 55 sq meters of patio I need layed out the front.

    The slabs are costing €55/sq m = €3000

total quote including slabs is €9000

Labour coming in at €106 per sq meter.

This price doesn't include drainage solution.

To install soakway and to to tap the existing drain to a new area its another €1000 on top.

I need the back done also which is 70 sq meters.

same slabs. Total including labour coming in at €11250.

    Again €106 per sq meter.

    no access issues.

front has slabs that will have to be removed, back has grass that will have to be dug out.

Seems very high to me. any thoughts?

I was thinking that €90/square meter for labour would be more reasonable but maybe rates have just gone up

l don't know much about patio costs but even €90 a meter would sound very dear to me.

Won't be much help to you but we paid €80 a meter in 2018 for indian sandstone supplied and fitted .

maybe ask the company you are buying the slabs from if they recommend anyone , definitely get a second and third quote imo

Roughly how much should labour cost for 60 metres of a sandstone patio. Probably 2 days of prep work for the ground aswel. Limerick area. Thanks
