    Hi there,

Your advice will be really helpfull. We are a family of 4 and our twins are todlers. We are getting a 3bkh house in Castlecurragh Heath, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 but there are lots of bad reviews. We are from Asia so we are not sure if this will be the right decision in terms of safety. Is it a safe enough area. House is nice and meets our need and budget. 300k.

It will be a great help if you can guide us.

Its definitely one of the rougher parts of D15 for sure.

2019 a gun was picked up by a 5 year old child & someone was shot in a gang thing.

My advice is drive into the estate in the evening & see what's happening ... Are there gangs of teenagers? House parties?

Try ask some of the neighbours if they like it? Why is the house up for sale?

*I didn't ask about my house & found out afterwards there was fighting between neighbours - now nobody on our road talks to each other, there's no community

There is a reason that the price is 300k- and this is because of the limited desirability of the area.

I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere- and also, when prices are in this bracket for a 3 bed in Dublin- there tends to be a reason for it (and yes, prices are that ridiculous).
