Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New Services Ducting for Eir Fibre

Would anyone recommend a civil contractor who could look at an issue with an Eir duct? Recently ordered an Eir fibre bundle, the KN contractor came out, took one look and said it couldn’t be done because he couldn’t get the old copper cable out and wasn’t sure where it ended so to contact Eir.

They suggested that I get a contractor to put a new duct from their services under a footpath, in to my garden and either run the conduit under the drive or along a wall to the house, they’d use this and then take the fibre inside. Seems like a better option as the old cable is buried under the drive and is likely kinked.

    Any suggestions appreciated.
