    Hi,

Bought a 2015 Mercedes GLA in February 2021, 84,000km from a Mercedes retailer. In August 2021, the engine light comes on and loss of power AA diagnosed issue with the EGR valve. I contacted the garage I bought the car from, told me to drive on the motorway give car a good run to clear it. I take the motorway for 60 min every day for work...followed the instructions, it did not work, had to bring car to the garage, EGR valve cleaned, €200 cost.

December 2021, engine light comes on again and loss of power, car back in the garage, kept it for 5 weeks, couldn’t find the fault, eventually replaced the turbo, €3000 cost. Another valve had to be cleaned as well after replacing the turbo as the car was not running right.

July 2022, engine light comes on and loss of power, apparently it’s a part on the EGR valve that’s not working, garage is saying it’s going to cost €1,100.

Can someone advise me, I feel they are taking me for a fool and that replacing the turbo was unnecessary. I’m starting to think that the car was probably faulty when they sold it to me but did not disclose it. What should I do? Any help appreciated.
