General Household Rubbish

Hi all,

Wasn't sure where to put this. We are moving house and won't have general waste rubbish collection for the last week so going to have a few bags of nappies etc that will need to get rid of. Does anyone know where I can do this in the fingal area?

Finding plenty on recycling but not general waste.

Rang Fingal CC and they don't offer this and don't know of anyone that does.......strange as you would think it might help to reduce fly tipping!

You can buy a skip bag in most hardware stores but beware there is an additional fee to collect it.

You could bring to skip company.

You could try leaving next to existing household bin and talking to bin guys who might take it for a fiver.

Please don't do this.

Ringsend Bring Centre at the East Link roundabout take general waste bags for €4 for an 80l bag. I'm surprised somewhere in north Dublin/Fingal don't do this, but if that's really the case then Ringsend is an option for you.

Ballyogan Recycling will take a car full of general waste for 30 quid. There are surely other recycling centres / dumps in North Dublin who will do similar.
