    Hi,

I am changing some of my existing Light Switches to the Trendi type.

Problem I have is that when I disconnect the light switch wiring I have 4 wires going to 4 connectors.

however the new light switch only has 3 connectors.

Where do I put the 4 wires now ?

I know this is probably Electrical 123,

    All help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jay

Sounds like you may have a intermediate switch as the existing switch and trying to replace with a 1 gang 2 way, but would need pictures to confirm.

does the light from that switch, switch from an other 2 locations? example stairs landing.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the information.

yes it does stairs top and bottom.

The inside of the existing wiring is one red wire, one black wire and two Greg wires.

The switch I'm trying to replace it with can only take three wires, one called com and one called L1 and one called L2.

    Any good !!!

    Thanks

    Hi,

I'd prefer if I don't have to post pictures.

    Too many toes..

    Thanks
