Has anyone any tips on using Google Ad's for someone who is finding their feet? Is it worth the money?

Are you selling a product/service, or hosting ads on a website you own?

For the latter to be worthwhile, you need thousands of views a day.

For the former, it depends on your product and target audience. If it's hyer-local (eg plumber, coffee shop etc) then Facebook ads may be more cost effective.

Selling products on a website. The world of SEO and online advertising is like pandoras box from what I've seen so far. It's quite fascinating.
