Suspended sentence

    Hello can anyone tell me if someone gets a 2 years suspended sentence imposed in Ireland for a driving offence can that person still travel overseas for a holiday the person received the 2 year suspended sentence a 5 year ban and a fine

    That would depend on if there are restrictions put on travel. In general, nothing stopping anyone from leaving the country when sentence is suspended

    The only issue may be, if they are travelling to a place were a visa is required, criminal convictions, regardless of suspension of a sentence could raise red flags in some countries, US for example. I'd doubt it would be an issue travelling within EU though.

    US or Australia unlikely depending on what the offence was but usually death or drink/drugs would mean no entry. EU/UK travel won't be an issue.
