How can Letterkenny be under threat of water restrictions.

Apart from the Last couple of days I wouldn't call this an overly dry summer but far. Going by this it seems the water supply for Letterkenny is seriously inadequate.

Seems to be around the country, announced on the radio for people to conserve water usage. 😫

Various area's mentioned that rationing might be introduced.

Unreal considering it's only a few dry days & rain expected from tomorrow.

Farcical, that's what it is. Just shows if we had a good summer we wouldn't have the services to provide for the population.

Must be more to it because by no means is this a dry summer by any terms.

I would ask one of the local councillors for an explanation.

Probably be the same old bu##s#it as Donegal Dailly is spouting.

"Due to the continued dry spell the turning off of the water supply in the inishowen area at certain times is necessary to preserve water.

    We all know the truth.

Because the water has to be treated so it comes out of your tap, and there are leaks around town often.

A huge leak was pouring out of the back of Josies bar for months, with the solution eventually being to run a hose pipe out from the broken water spout out under Gildea's butchers.
