    Up until the 2000's we seemed by and large to get by without A/C.

    One essential piece missing from modern cars is the quarterlight. If that was opened and aimed the right way a nice cooling breeze could be generated. Of course you need to be moving all the time.

    Park in the shade, tint windows or use those kids stick on blinds. Reflective tinfoil sign thing on front window when parked. Wear shorts while driving. Adjust all vents to suit fan up full, closing some and tilting others to face. Bring a drink with ice in it. Open all windows when starting off then I like to keep passenger window down but drivers up. I usually slightly open back windows.

    Some cars particularly newer VW you can remotely put windows down by certain key presses on the remote with a menu option to disable it.

    Next time buy a car with AC.

    Some electric cars you can remotely pre heat or pre cool using the cars phone app.

    Ah good old windows.

    People even jumped off the dart yesterday with no windows and AC not on/working.

    No wonder bill gates is so rich.
