NCT Emissions being fudged?

    I'm looking at an new NCT here for a car I'm interested in. The results for emissions are:

    Low idle CO 0.00 vol%

    HC 4ppm

    Lambda 1.01

    High idle CO 0.00 vol%

    HC 4ppm


    Petrol, 2l turbo, 17 years old now. Am I being overly paranoid that there is no difference between measurements?
