Date on Tray of Egg

There is a tray of eggs in the fridge. The date is stamped as 02 JUL IE - 18 -08
Is the use by date 02/07 or 18/08?

02 Jul is the expiry. 18-08 is so you can find out where it was laid.

Ah ok, cheers. Probably best not to chance them? I did the water test. The egg sank to the bottom of the saucepan.
