    Hi there everyone,

I have a 2013 fiesta st mk7 st2 that needs some work done. I was wondering if any one could recommend any Indy Ford mechanic or specialist in the Dublin area ( preferably Northside) to take a look at it. Knocking noise from the steering, could be cv joint? I'd prefer to keep it away from main dealers for obvious reasons. Seems to be plenty of vw, bmw ,Merc specialists around , but can't find a Ford mechanic. If someone could point me in the right direction it would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Any decent mechanic could sort that. Doesn’t need to be a specialist

I brought it to a garage a few months ago and they told me there was nothing wrong, twice. I has now gotten worse. Got the impression all they wanted to do was give it a service and send me on my way. Out of curiosity is there any Ford specialists in Ireland?

Given their popularity here, any decent independent mechanic should be a specialist.

    🙈🙉🙊

No Ford specialists that I know of. I don't think there would be enough demand as Ford's are generally not as complex/specialist as their German counterparts. If I were you I would find a decent independent mechanic to look at your car. I too would stay away from dealerships because I generally find that the standard of work carried out is not as good as a good independent mechanic.

I was thinking the same thing. I got a number for a lad this evening. Comes highly recommended. I'll bring it down to him. Hopefully its just the CV and nothing more serious. Thanks for replies.
