I'm looking for the punk-looking cool girl walking down Rhode main street yesterday afternoon. Long dark hair, big beautiful smile. I was the guy on the bike who nearly fell off when you said 'hi' to him.

Hey Spear. Can you tell me how. I must be thick, but I can't find any button on the Offaly forum that tells me how to post a new thread

I'm new to boards.ie and I've read the various guidance, but my screen doesn't show any Edit symbol or New Thread button. How do I start a thread??

As @cml387 mentions above, it's called New Discussion now. I appreciate your attempt to do the right thing and check the guides, but they may, if fact almostly certainly are, outdated after a site platform change a year ago.

Then Spear tells me I've created a 'Forum".

Actually, if I am follow Spears link into the Offaly forum... There is no New Discussion button on that page at all.
