I have a Grant oil boiler Euro flame 90/120 that fires up even though the two Myson pumps are not light up.

It would do it occasionally about once ever 6 months. Now it seems too be doing it most of the time.

I have it serviced once a year. You wouldn't notice it in the winter time, but this time of the year you would.

I don't think it is haunting any ideas what's happening.

    Thanks in advance.

Could be stuck contacts on the micro switch on one of the motorised valves.
