Trailer lights issue

Wiring up some old style lights to jeep

7 wires - followed the instructions for wiring. Ensured it was earthed correctly

The hazards come on in jeep when I plug in lights. All other indicators etc work fine. All other trailers with lights working fine. Hazards won't go off

A common issue? I will need to take the brake wire out altogether, at least I will have indictors and other lights working

So all lights are working fine with other trailers, including the hazards?

Happened to me before. Have you a detachable length of wiring cable on the front of the trailer. If so, just wire one plug as per the wiring diagram. Wire the other one mirrored from left to right. Top and lower pins same the same. Simple fix.

If you follow one of the wires (say the one at 3 O'Clock position) as it goes back, it all makes sense.
